APRIL 2024 COVER FEATURE: Tim Keener (41) of Ronald S. Keener Grain in Mount Joy, PA owns and operates this sharp 2003 Peterbilt 379. Powered by a CAT 6NZ hooked to a 13-speed, the Metallic Silver and Radiant Red rig was purchased new by the company and typically hauls grain in a 2016 Timpte hopper trailer. This is one of six trucks and ten trailers owned by the company, which was started by Tim’s parents in 1976. Although Tim does not run this truck everyday because of all his other responsibilities in the family business, he still gets it out often and it earns its keep. It is seen here with a covered bridge, which is located at a park in Navron, PA.
