Antique Restoration Specialist and Heavy Repairman Brandon Schultz (42) was in charge of the project, which mated the cab and butterfly hood of a 1966 Peterbilt 351A to a newer 2016 Peterbilt chassis. With a 605-hp Cummins ISX stu–ed under the narrow hood and an 18-speed transmission, this “old” truck has ample motivation to get the job done... and it is fully CARB-compliant! Fitted with a custom body from Stellar Industries, this rig, with classic styling, modern conveniences, and plenty of power, has it all. Specializing in excavating, grading, paving, trucking and more, Doug Veerkamp (67) started the company in 1983. Today, his son Matt (41) handles most of the day-to-day operations.
