AUGUST 2024 COVER FEATURE: www.tenfourmagazine.com Mike Viviano (62) of Viviano Trucking in Newark, CA owns and operates this slick little Peterbilt hooked to a set of matching ACE double bottom dumps. The 2020 Peterbilt 389 was purchased through an auction after being wrecked and was then completely rebuilt by Mike. The truck is a bit rare, as it is one of the few 2-axle tractors built by Peterbilt with a 605-hp Cummins X15 engine. It also has an 18-speed AutoShift transmission, which Mike loves. Mike and his family have been pulling bottom dumps and setting the bar in and around California’s Bay Area for over six decades, hauling rock and sand to local ready-mix plants.
