10-4 Magazine / August 2025 59 One of the most iconic and memorable show trucks from the late 1990s and early 2000s was Robert Manley’s John Deere themed 1967 Peterbilt 351. Powered by a 425-hp 3406B CAT and mated to a 13-speed transmission with a 4-speed auxiliary box, the truck was all custom from front to back. The truck sported a 335” wheelbase and a 145” custom sleeper (built by Robert himself) that featured an extra door on the left side. As seen in this photo, the butterfly hood had been stretched 6" longer, but it was later stretched 8” more! OUT OF THE ARCHIVES Bette Garber Robert Manley’s “Born To Boogie III” 1967 Peterbilt 351
