OCTOBER 2021 COVER FEATURE: Josh Branscome (34) of Lawsonville, NC owns and operates this classic 1983 Peterbilt 359 short hood on a daily basis. Featuring a CAT NXS engine, a 13-speed transmission, 3.25 rears, a 48-inch standup sleeper and a 269-inch wheelbase, this “boneyard built” truck was mostly put together using parts Josh found in a local salvage yard. Typically hooked to his new 2022 East frameless end dump, Josh primarily hauls agricultural commodities in Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
