OCTOBER 2024 COVER FEATURE: Brandon Emmons (28) of Emmons & Sons in Chesterfield, IL operates this slick 1985 Kenworth W900B as part of his family’s fleet of cool classics. This truck, with a 60” sleeper, is powered by a 400 Big Cam Cummins hooked to a 13-speed and 3.90 rears, and pulls a matching 2006 Utility 50’ spread-axle stainless reefer. Currently, with a fleet of 13 trucks, which includes five company trucks and eight leased operators, Emmons & Sons hauls a variety of refrigerated products all across the country, but mostly out west and down south.
