OCTOBER 2025 COVER FEATURE: Josh Roberts (39) of Josh Roberts Trucking in Ellensburg, WA owns and operates this classically-styled 2004 Peterbilt 379. Purchased new by his father John, who had to sell it in 2019 after being diagnosed with COPD, Josh was able to buy it back in 2020 and add it to his fleet of 15 trucks. Powered by a “tuned” 550-hp CAT 6NZ hooked to an 18-speed, the truck features a stretched wheelbase, an updated American Class interior, and plenty of other upgrades. However, wanting the truck to retain much of its original look, the paint and other details were left alone. Seen here hooked to a polished-out 2015 East spread-axle Conestoga, this truck is aectionately known as “Girdy 3” (which is the name his father gave it).
