SEPTEMBER 2025 COVER FEATURE: Wes Johnson (62) of North Salt Lake City, UT owns this cool 1989 International 9300 Eagle show truck from 25 years ago. Wes bought the truck from a friend in 2014 and has kept it with his amazing car collection at a place he calls Hank’s Garage ever since. The truck was originally built by Mike Duy (70) from Canada in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Mike sold the truck in 2003 and then lost track of it. After three years of digging and investigating, we were able to piece most of the history of this truck together and unite many of the players in the story, as well. The truck is powered by a purple Cummins 444 hooked to a 10-speed, and it features a custom purple interior, along with 478 lights, and looks almost identical to how it looked when Mike sold it 22 years ago.
