A MESSAGE FROM OUR COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR Dear Community Members, Community Services had a busy summer and its transitioning into an exciting eventful fall for our community. We want you to be excited about the many offerings in this brochure and nd fun in learning. Community Services offers programs and activities for people of all ages and interests, aiming to enrich and improve one’s quality of life. We have carefully curated our recreation and enrichment programming, being mindful of our community’s wide range of ages, interests and skills levels. Whether you or your child are passionate about sports, arts and crafts, wellness or education, we have exciting opportunities for everyone! While we continue to offer popular dance, music, tness, sports and enrichment classes for tots through adults (why wouldn’t we since they’re so popular?!), we are excited to announce some new offerings, including Playground and Paint for tots, Culinary Dude Winter Break Camp for youth, teen one-day workshops called Paint Night , Board Game Get Together , and Halloween Movie Night at Greystone Mansion & Gardens , and last but not least, Sound and Breath Workshops, Hand & Foot Canasta Shuf e , and Health Seniors Head to Toe for adults and seniors. We also have a whole new series of gardening workshops, including a Scare- crow Making Class and Birding and Gardening ! Fall is also a season of festivity, and we have planned a series of lively events to bring the community together in good fun! From our Fall Funtastic harvest festival at the Farmers’ Market, and Great Outdoors experience at Greystone Mansion & Gardens, to our 50th Anniversary of the Beverly Hills Art Show (Part 2), Doggy Daze pet extravaganza at Roxury Park on Novem- ber 5, and NEW events being planned, our events calendar is brimming with opportunities to connect, have fun and make lasting memories. And remember, as we begin the new school season, look to the library for resources you may need! You’ll nd an abundance of reading materials, access to electronic resources, literary assistance, programs for children, tutor and homework help for teens, and so much more! As we embark on the vibrancy of fall, I invite you all to join us in celebrating the beauty of this season and the unlimited possibilities that it brings!
