We offer beginning grammar and develop listening, speaking, reading, and elementary writing skills. Students with little or no background in English will be introduced to pronunciation, American culture, basic idioms, and real-life conversations. 9 weeks. 7809 1:00pm - 3:00pm M/Tu/W 3/28 - 5/25 $184/$230 Location: RX Magnolia 128 & 129 ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) ESL INTERMEDIATE CLASSES ESL LEVEL 4/5 [18+ yrs] - Virtual In this lively class, we address high-intermediate and advanced elements of American English grammar, as well as vocabulary enhancement, pronunciation, writing skills, American culture, and the building of conversational skills. Students study the novels of famed American writers, such as Steinbeck, Hemingway and Fitzgerald, as well as internationally acclaimed authors.
