50 | SPRING 2023 LAWN BOWLING [55+ yrs] The Beverly Hills Lawn Bowling Club at Roxbury Park invites you to learn how to play this enjoy- able and historical social game. Please call Bill Wolff at (323) 403-6346 or via email at BHLBC@ bowlnow.org for information about free lessons, and the most up to date rules of play and current policies. The Club bowls regularly on Sat/Sun at 10:00am and Wed at 12:00pm. Free lessons are available by appointment most Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9:00am. YOGA WITH NORM INTERMEDIATE/ ADVANCED [55+ yrs] Participants MUST be able to get up and down from a yoga mat ON THEIR OWN. Please bring your own mat as none are provided, and a beach type of towel to rest your head. To buy: a stretchy strap, yoga block, and 2 weights approx. 2.5 lbs each (or heavier if you prefer). Try not to drink liquids or eat an hour before class. Be prepared to relax, breathe, stretch and do what only you know your body will allow. Come and enjoy!! This mat class will strengthen your entire body while using Pilates techniques to enhance your core and give you upper body and leg strength. Be your best self in a supportive and motivational environment. You must bring your own mat and band; none are provided and be able to get up and down from the floor unassisted.
