A MESSAGE FROM OUR COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR • We’ve added an array of programming at Greystone Mansion & Gardens, which includes movies and small performances in the theatre. Monthly, Inside the Mansion Self-Guided Tours and Greystone in the Movies , as well as a Music in the Mansion concert and Gatsby Redux dance performance are some of the programs that will be offered this spring. You can learn more at beverlyhills.org/greystone. • Join us on Sunday, March 10th at the Farmers’ Market for the Community Services Department Showcase where you will nd booths, demonstrations, and performances from our vendors of spring class and summer camp offerings. While there is NO onsite registration on this day, you will get a special discount code for attending the event, which can be applied to your spring class and summer camp enrollment. • Also in March, we will celebrate and honor the Persian New Year with a Nowruz Table display at the Farmers’ Market. • In May, we will celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month with an array of events throughout the month, including the second annual Rugelach Baking Contest at the Farmers’ Market. • On our Arts & Culture front, we will hold our bi-annual spring Beverly Hills Art Show on May 18th & 19th in Beverly Gardens Park. And join us MONTHLY for Artwalk Guided Tours, where you can learn more about speci c artwork that is part of the City’s public art collection. • Our award-winning library will be celebration National Library Week in April and the annual Summer Reading Club begins in May! I am excited to share that we also have a separate 2024 Summer Camp brochure coming out soon to help you prepare early on how your child will spend the summer. You’ll nd our Spring Brochure and Summer Camp Brochure are full of opportunities for growth, involvement and the cultivation of new skills and friendships. Whether you’re a long-time participant or you are considering joining one of our classes, programs or events for the rst time, we hope you will join others in learning, sharing and creating lasting memories and friendships. Cypress Lane at Greystone Mansion & Gardens! Were you aware that the city acquired Greystone Mansion & Gardens, a property previously belonging to the Doheny family, renowned for their oil-generated wealth? The estate features a 46,000 square foot mansion situated on more than 18 acres of lush land. The outdoor area was designated as a public park in 1971 and is open daily to everyone. The property includes a small, indoor theatre which has been restored to host a variety of events. Throughout the year, you will nd a diverse range of programs and events offered to highlight Greystone and introduce the community to innovative and cultural programs.
