A MESSAGE FROM OUR COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR Happy summer everyone! After a cold and rainy winter that trickled into spring (although much needed), we are taking in the sunshine and welcoming summer with open arms! We offer a variety of exciting summer offerings for everyone to stay active and engaged! You will nd innovative Summer Camps in a safe, active and fun environment for kids to explore new interests, get creative, make friends and learn! (Please note locations of camps, as some may have changed.) Whether you’re looking to learn something new, improve physical and mental wellness, gain enrichment, channel your creativity or you just want to have fun, we have it! We hope to provide a more robust quality of life to our residents and all participants by giving you a variety of classes, programs, activities and special events! Here are some highlights coming your way this Summer! • Jewish American Heritage Month Celebrations , May 1 - 31. Join us for celebratory events throughout the city all month long! For more information, view beverlyhills.org/JAHM. • Beverly Hills Art Show Celebrates its 50th Anniversary showcasing artwork of 230 artists on Saturday and Sunday, May 20 & 21 from 10am to 6pm at Beverly Gardens Park. • Summer Reading Club begins May 30th. This year’s theme is Find Your Voice . Registration is online at www.bhpl.org . Prizes will be awarded! Join us for reading club fun! • Summer Camp offerings include new and popular camps Camp Beverly Hills & Catskills West, Destination Science & Professor Egghead, Bizzy Kids Entrepreneur Camp, Culinary Dude’s Summer Cooking Camp, Parker Anderson Enrich Camps and more sports, tness, science, language and more! • Enjoy our Concerts on Canon series with performances every Thursday in Beverly Canon Gardens, starting June 1 – August 24. Join us for summer music fun, dance & social gatherings! • Celebrate National Park & Recreation Month in July with our summer recreation programs, special events and fun community challenges for all ages & the entire community. This summer, we invite you to get outdoors for healthy active fun while appreciating and taking care of parks and open green space areas. Watch for more on our social media channels @CommunityLifeBH.
