The TAC is made up of 6th – 12th grade students who live or go to school in Beverly Hills. The TAC meets monthly, working with Community Services staff, generating ideas, identifying problems, suggesting solutions, and putting on programs and events for their peers. Over the years, members have played an integral role in the planning of the Beverly Hills Library Teen Zone, Roxbury Community Center re-design phase, along with many annual events such as the Teen Haunted House, Teen Leadership Day, Kindness Week and Movie Night. From making delicious food to effective budgeting your teen will walk away with con dence and essential life skills! Min Participants: 10 BUILDING CONFIDENCE THROUGH CREATIVITY [7th – 10th grade] Welcoming all teens to join in building the skills for healthy creative expression and physical health. Teens will improve their writing skills through guided exercises, storytelling, and peer activities. During the movement portion, freestyle theory and dance segments will focus on movement dynamics, rhythm, and con dence-building, all within a fun, judgmentfree space. This immersive workshop is ideal for teens who want to explore their artistic voice, have fun, build con dence, and connect with others in a supportive environment. Min Participants: 10 COLLEGE AND CAREER PREP [10th – 12th grade] Prepare for your future with our College and Career Prep Teen Workshop. This engaging session will help students explore career paths and college options through interactive activities and open discussions. Teens will gain insights into their own strengths and interests and will be guided to learn how to use this information to make informed decisions.
