18 | 2024 SUMMER CAMPS PARKER ANDERSON ENRICHMENT CAMP [6 - 12 yrs] The antidote to summer learning loss! Social-emotional learning opportunities, new friends, and lifelong memories! Our Summer Camps enthuse, educate, and excite students by exposing them to a wide variety of activities! We have an engaging and CPR-certi ed staff who ensures that each child has an amazing experience. Instructor: Parker Anderson Enrichment Instructor CAMP SESSION DESCRIPTIONS Session 1 - Lego Robotics Students build new and different projects each week as they graduate from simple machines, to motorized mechanisms, to robotics with basic programming. They’ll learn all about engineering principles such as gears, wheels, axles, levers, and pulleys. This class is as fun as it is educational! Session 2 - Anime, Cartooning&Comic Book Creation Cartooning is a great way to learn how to sketch and draw. You will learn to create your own characters as well as popular characters from Disney, Anime, and more! Learn about storylines, design, coloring, and lettering, as you create your very own comic book! Specialty Camps Session 3 - Chem Kidz Chemistry is amazing! Conduct physical and chemical experiments and learn what makes them work. Investigate acids and bases, polymers, static electricity, and so much more! You’ll learn about atoms and the Periodic Table through fun experiments including Elephant Toothpaste, insta- snow, and a Mentos-Coke explosion! Chemistry has never been so fun! Session 4 - Kids Dance Studio Kids Dance Studio provides an encouraging environment to explore movement through choreography and games! In this fun and safe atmosphere, students will practice exciting dance steps and challenging combinations, helping them learn to control and coordinate their bodies. Sharing new ideas and ways to move, students will work together to produce entertaining, choreographed routines!
