16 Winter 2022 www.beverlyhills.org/BHRec FITNESS LAWN BOWLING [55+ yrs] The Beverly Hills Lawn Bowling Club at Roxbury Park invites you to learn how to play this enjoyable and historical social game. Please call Bill Wolff at (323) 403-6346 or via email at BHLBC@bowlnow.org for information about free lessons, and the most up to date rules of play and current policies. The Club bowls regularly on Sat/Sun at 10:00am and Wed at 12:00pm. Free lessons are available by appointment most Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9:00am. Face masks are required to play, and rules may be adjusted as needed to remain in compliance with current public health guidelines. YOGA WITH NORM Participants MUST be able to get up and down from a Yoga mat ON THEIR OWN. Please bring your own mat as none are provided, a beach type of towel to rest your head. To buy: a stretchy strap, Yoga block, and 2 weights approx. 2.5 lbs each (or heavier if you prefer). Try not to drink liquids or eat an hr. before class. Be prepared to relax, breathe, stretch and do what only you know your body will allow. Come and enjoy!! Please note this will not be “Chair Yoga. The emphasis is on fun fitness in this low-impact class for all fitness levels and will challenge all major muscle groups.
