Due to the narrowness of the existing road it is prone to heavy traffic congestion and severe traffic collisions. The project will widen the existing Scott Road from two lanes to four lanes between Haun Road and Sunset Avenue and will add 14 ‐ foot median and 10 ‐ foot shoulders in each direction. The project will also construct drainage improvements and relocate existing utilities.
