15 MENIFEE MATTERS Menifee Life Savers includes a collection of FREE public education classes such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use, Basic First Aid, and Bleeding Control. MENIFEE COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM CERT We are excited to invite community members, faith-based organizations, veterans, and first responders to join us for a special day of unity in our community. This year, the Menifee Police Department is collaborating with MilVet, a local nonprofit, to assemble 200 care packages for deployed troops. Additionally, Menifee PD will partner with the City’s Community Services Department to host a resource fair for veterans, first responders, and their families. Menifee CERT is a network of dedicated community volunteers that have been Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) trained to respond in the event of a natural disaster or other type of emergency.
