Menifee Matters - Community News & Activity Guide - Fall 2025

2 Thank you for reading our Fall edition of Menifee Matters. Over the summer, the City Council approved our City’s next two-year budget. I am proud to say that this balanced budget ensures we continue our commitment to building a safe, thriving, inclusive, and premier place to live while maintaining fiscal sustainability and accountability. The budget also maintains our 40% reserve policy, further solidifying the City’s financial stability and readiness for potential emergencies. Learn more about our Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 and 2026/27 Biennial Budget on pages 16 and 17. This year, we celebrated two important anniversaries, the 5th anniversary of the Menifee Police Department and the 10th anniversary of the Community Services Department. Since its launch in July 2020, Menifee PD has grown to over 120 officers and support personnel, not only helping to keep our community safe, but positioning Menifee as one of the Top 20 safest cities in California. Our Community Services team also continues to elevate the social landscape of our community, providing top-tier events and recreation programs, and keeping our city parks and amenities clean and beautiful. Learn more about Community Services on page 18. As we embrace this changing season, I want to thank you for your continued engagement and support. Together, we’re building a community that reflects the values, priorities, and vision of our residents. I look forward to the opportunities ahead and encourage you to stay involved, stay informed, and enjoy all that fall has to offer in our city.
