The maximum speed allowed on public highways, trails, paths, parks, or other public spaces in the City is 20 mph. Electric conveyance vehicles including, electric bikes, skateboards, and scooters are becoming increasingly popular, leading to a noticeable rise in related collisions across Southern California. To enhance public safety, particularly for young riders, the new E-Bike Ordinance has gone into e ect with new safety regulations.
