7 MENIFEE MATTERS HOMETOWN HEROES Artie Allen, a longtime Menifee resident, served nearly 31 years in the U.S. Marine Corps with distinction, including combat tours in Desert Storm, Iraq, and Afghanistan. A decorated veteran and former Drill Instructor, Artie continued his commitment to service after retirement, volunteering over 1,000 hours to support veterans, youth, and community causes. As Chair of the Riverside County Veterans Advisory Committee, he advocated for the needs of over 118,000 local veterans. Artie was selected as a Hometown Hero for his lifelong dedication to country, community, and fellow service members. As an active member of the Lake Menifee Women's Club, the City’s Citizens Advisory Committee, and the Menifee Interfaith and Community Service Council, she dedicates her time to helping others with a selfless heart and uplifting attitude. As a local business owner, he is passionate about empowering small businesses with the tools and support they need to grow. His military service instilled in him a deep sense of duty, which he now channels into strengthening Menifee’s economic and civic landscape. Being named a Hometown Hero is a profound honor for Jesse—one he sees as a reflection of his lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and community.
