15 MENIFEE MATTERS Johnny Bartlett excels at ensuring the safety of our community. He is a devoted 9th Shield security o cer responsible for overseeing the safety and quality of life at Cherry Hills Plaza. Both business owners in the plaza and members of the community know Johnny for his kind demeanor and dedication to service. In addition to maintaining a secure environment for families to shop and dine-in, Johnny actively participates in beautifying the surrounding area and continues to build strong relationships with our local business owners and patrons of the Cherry Hills Plaza. EUGENE “JOHNNY” BARTLETT II Dawn Smith, the Executive Director of the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard (MVCC), is widely recognized in the community for her dedication to ensuring access to food for all. Apart from her role at MVCC, she holds leadership positions in various local organizations such as the Rotary Club and Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she is a co-founder of the Arts Council Menifee. Her passion for giving back and love for our community is evident through her continued service and dedication to every organization she is a part of. DAWN SMITH
