Menifee Matters - Community News & Activity Guide - Winter 2024

2 Happy Holidays, Menifee! I hope that you enjoy this holiday season and take an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. We are wrapping up a very productive year here in the City of Menifee which included the grand opening of the Holland Road Overpass. This new east-to-west route across the I-215 helps alleviate tra€c on Newport and Scott Roads and provides a great local alternative for our residents. See more on page 8. The City of Menifee had the opportunity to share several accomplishments from this year at our annual State of the City Address held at the HCN Bank Stadium at Mt. San Jacinto College on Thursday, October 24. Learn more about this event and some key highlights on page 16. This upcoming year, we look forward to maintaining our commitment to building projects that will continue to have a long-lasting positive benefit for the Menifee community. The much-anticipated Bradley Road bridge will begin construction in 2025 and will help address historic flooding issues at Salt Creek. Additionally, we are investing in Menifee’s Social Infrastructure and are making numerous enhancements to Central Park including, our new state-of-the-art amphitheater, the Paloma Wash Pedestrian Bridge, which will connect Central Park to the shopping centers to the east, and a new parking lot that will accommodate visitors to Central Park and the future City Hall facility. We look forward to sharing more news and updates with you throughout the year.
