3 MAJOR MENIFEE UPDATES Mike Ballinger The City of Menifee is excited to announce that we now have two battalion chiefs serving our community! Mike Ballinger has been appointed as the City of Menifee’s newest battalion chief serving alongside Battalion Chief Bill Lawe. Ballinger started his firefighting career with CAL FIRE/San Bernardino in 1995. After a few years of service, he moved to the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department where he worked through the ranks of Firefighter, Engineer, and Captain with a major focus in contract service delivery. He would later join the Training Division where he personally helped promote the growth of new students and firefighter candidates and strived to pass on long- standing traditions. In his current role as Battalion Chief, Ballinger looks forward to working with the men and women sworn to protect our city and being a contributing member of the Menifee community. Ballinger holds degrees in both Fire Technology and Fire Service Leadership. Kohl Haessly EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER Congratulations to our Employee of the Quarter, Kohl Haessly! This online portal allows property owners to easily access and review details of their property tax bill, including their land value, the value of improvements on their property, and a listing of special districts administered by the City. The application will also help you find more information available from the Riverside County Tax Collector. All that is needed to utilize this tool is the property address or Parcel Identification Number (PIN) that you want to learn more about. Give it a try by scanning the QR code!
