9 MENIFEE MATTERS This December, the City will cut the ribbon on the new Quail Valley Fire Station 5 located at 29745 Goetz Rd., just south of Vista Way. This new station replaces the existing Quail Valley Fire Station 5 at the intersection of Goetz Road and Avenida Robles, which was no longer able to support modern fire service functionality due to the age of the structure and its limited ability to house fire personnel. This new fire station is a 9,000 sq. ft. facility that can accommodate more staˆ, housing up to 10 fire personnel to meet the growing fire response needs of the western area of the City. In addition, this new facility allows for long-term capacity expansion to potentially accommodate a battalion chief, a fire engine, a medic squad, and a ladder truck.
