David Brinkman DAP Health CEO Making A Di erence I am proud to state that the expanded DAP Health — still headquartered at our Sunrise campus in Palm Springs, and whose 950 health care professionals at 25 clinics in 240 urban and rural zip codes from the Salton Sea to San Diego care for more than 100,000 patients of all ages, genders, and orientations — is working harder and with more impact than ever. Like our physical footprint, our mission throughout Southern California and beyond has grown such that we can do even more to protect and expand health care access. In my 18 years of full-time residency in the Coachella Valley I have served on several nonprofit boards at all times. Served 7 years Governing Board DRMC (now Chair Emeritus), 15 years PSWIFT, 10 years PD Rotary, 6 years LQ Chamber board. Ron Berger Desert Tortoise Preserve Committee President Making A Di erence I manage non-profit entities focused on the Desert Tortoise. The Desert Tortoise Preserve Committee operates preserves where desert tortoises and other threatened, endangered species can live peacefully within fencing we installed. One area, the Desert Tortoise Research Natural Area located outside Cali- fornia City, CA, covers forty square miles. The Desert Tortoise Conservancy plans to develop an Awareness Center in Palm Springs, building awareness of the tortoise’ plight while provid- ing a facility to re-home formerly pet tortoises. The Coalition for a Balanced Environment, comprised of 19 entities, seeks to bring raven populations under control! Bell American Red Cross Regional Philanthropy O‹cer Making A Di erence As the Regional Philanthropy O®cer for the American Red Cross of Riverside County serving the Coachella Valley, I have the rewarding opportunity to work with external partners, corporations and individual donors to raise funds to support the lifesaving mission of this humanitarian organization. In my role, I support emergency preparedness, disaster relief and assistance programs to help ensure that no one faces emergencies alone in Coachella Valley or for other neighbors in need. This philanthropic work helps enable the mission delivery of shelter, food, relief items, emotional support and other assistance for people a¦ected by disasters big and small including wildfires, storms, home fires, and more. Je rey Bernstein Destination PSP President Making A Di erence I have always believed that corporate social responsibility is essential to good. I stared this in 1990 when I founded Cable Positive, the cable television industry’s AIDS organization and continue today with Destination PSP. We have worked with dozens of non-profits, throughout the Coachella Valley, on merchandise and branding, donating time, resources and money. Our area has so many worthy organizations, it makes giving very meaningful. Being able to give back to our community has been, and continued to be, a priority in every business decision. In addition to running Destination PSP, I am the current Mayor of Palm Springs.!
