Given the hard work of the community, California Indian Nations College (CINC) was able to begin the 2023-24 school year without major adjustments. As research maintains American Indian students fall below the nation’s post-secondary achievement gap and represents >.01% of students in higher education. CINC is proud to report a record breaking 147 students into Fall and welcomed each student with a care package including general necessities and textbooks. This year we opened our new Path Breaker Program for all new students, and we have a film review, True Whispers, honoring Navajo code talkers on October 7th. The annual Gathering Under the Stars will take place November 4th. Please visit for more information: CINCollege.org At CINC, we stand in solidarity to provide personalized services through culturally responsive curriculum educating, strengthening, and empowering all students. We embrace and strengthen inclusivity, a sense of belonging, cultural respect, and reciprocity to positively impact our local and tribal communities.
