The work of the Red Cross spans the globe, but the impacts of its services are personal and lifechanging. In the last fiscal year, the American Red Cross of Riverside County responded to hundreds of local disasters, including wildfires, home fires, flooding and more, and helped over 400 families who were affected; enrolled over 18,000 people in First Aid/CPR/AED classes and other training courses; provided thousands of services for the military community, and more. The Red Cross also helps community members prepare for disasters, including providing free smoke alarm installations through its Home Fire Campaign and offering a variety of free preparedness programs.
