The event, aimed at finding forever homes for the shelter’s furry residents, saw an incredible outpouring of support from the community. A total of 80 dogs, 118 cats and 6 guinea pigs were adopted from August 9-13, marking a significant stride toward the shelter’s mission to provide a loving home for every animal. The success of the event was a testament to the dedication of the shelter’s staff and volunteers, the event’s sponsors, and our local community. Coachella Valley residents turned out in droves to help support this cause. These adoptions helped the shelter to clear more room, giving them the ability to help even more animals in need. In the aftermath of this success, Palm Springs Animal Shelter is thrilled to announce two upcoming events that promise even more opportunities to make a difference in the lives of animals. First on the horizon is our Estate Planning Seminar on October 18th, and our Gimme Shelter Fundraising Luncheon on November 9th.
