KETCHUM, Ph.D. DAP Health Board Member Co-Chair, Women of Impact Making A Dierence Dr. Ketchum is a professor and department chair of Women and Gender Studies at California State University, Fullerton. DAP Health’s WOI committee supports and expands comprehensive health care and wellness programs for women across Southern California. Driven by her understanding that, when we lift up and strengthen women, we also lift up and strengthen their communities, Ketchum is passionate about this work. There is now a significant opportunity to extend DAP Health’s unique, wraparound health care model — forged over the last 40 years — to underserved women, profoundly impacting their lives and those of future generations. NANCY SINGER Nancy has been involved with Temple Sinai for over 20 years; she has held many board positions, including her current role as President of Temple Sinai. Nancy aims to make a dierence in the lives of the Coachella Valley Jews by providing a safe and welcoming place for worship, education, and social interac- tion. When she volunteers in the oªce on Fridays, she greets visitors, answers the phone, and helps with administrative activities; she is the driving force that helps Temple Sinai to succeed and grow. She has also held many board positions with Desert Arc and Sabra Hadassah of the Desert. She volunteers tirelessly and is very hands-on with her work. No job is too big or too small. She gives her time, talents, and resources generously. Her devotion to philanthropic causes is a role model for us all. She feels privileged to pave the way for inclusion in Jewish life in the Coachella Valley for all Jews. Combining extensive business acumen with financial management and interpersonal relations to create a place of belonging for the Jews of the Coachella Valley. As Temple Sinai prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary, Nancy is diligently working to give shape and substance to its future. For over 40 years, Pegasus has touched the lives of countless individuals with equine assisted programs. JENNINE JORDAN California Indian Nations College Director of Development Making A Dierence California Indian Nations College (CINC) o¡ers a culturally-responsive academic curriculum rooted in Native American values and provides personalized support to advance the success of Native American students as a tribal college. CINC is chartered by the Twen- ty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians. In partnership with the University of California, Riverside and College of the Desert, students may transfer their two (2) year Associates degree to any University of California or California State University to attain a four (4) year degree. Bridging edu- cational advancement and providing support to our students and community members is what defines the people of the Coachella Valley. I am honored to work and reside here. Every program and service we o¡er is a direct result of input from our families and the community. As a Regional Communications Manager with the Southern California Region, Brianna Kelly promotes the vital work of the Red Cross in the community. She is passionate about sharing the Red Cross story across Southern California, encouraging the public to join the Red Cross in fulfilling its mission of preventing and alleviating human su¡ering in the face of emergencies - down the street, across the country and around the world.
