The Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF) proudly serves a growing, diverse, vast area of communities and nonprofits with the help of thousands of people, like you. We’re here to help you, your family or your business make a meaningful difference on the issues you care about by building the culture of philanthropy in the Coachella Valley. Locally, IECF has granted over $25 million to charities and educational institutions in the Coachella Valley over the past ten years. IECF maintains a deep understanding of the issues, continually assesses needs, and establishes priorities to meet the moment for our region. Recent highlights include the following efforts: Build Coachella Valley Fund: In its inaugural grantmaking to fight food insecurity, the Fund recently awarded $161,000 to eight organizations, including Cathedral City Senior Center, FIND Food Bank, TODEC, Mizell Center, Martha’s Village and Kitchen, CV Volunteers in Medicine and Riverside County Foundation on Aging. The signature fund at IECF sprang to life in 2023 as a way to support the urgent social, environmental, and economic resilience of the area. Creative Corps Inland SoCal: Grants totaling more than $798,380 were awarded to artists, culture- bearers, organizations, and agencies in the Coachella Valley. Thanks to a Creative Corps Inland SoCal Grant , Thousand Palms artist Emmanuel Doublin is raising awareness and support for people experiencing homelessness through his art portraits.
