The mission of the Riverside County Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program (RCLTCOP) is to seek the resolution of problems and advocate for the rights of residents of long-term care facilities, with the goal of ensuring their dignity, quality of life, and quality of care. The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is partially supported by Federal, State, and Riverside County funds and serves 15,000 seniors in over 500 facilities throughout Riverside County. Our LTC Ombudsmen regularly visit long-term care facilities and offer education, support, and advocacy to resolve residents’ concerns. We seek compassionate Volunteer advocates who like to solve problems to join our team. If you are interested in being a volunteer advocate or know a resident who needs advocacy, please call us at 1-833-772-6624 or visit www.coasc. org/rcltcop. Become a Riverside County Long-Term Care Ombudsman Sometimes, life doesn’t go as planned, especially as we age. This is true for many older adults in Coachella Valley and other areas of Riverside County, who find themselves living in long-term care facilities like skilled nursing, assisted living, and board and care homes.
