My job focuses on helping people navigate through our grants process. I am the primary contact for our foundation and am available at grants@thebarkerfoundation.net. I want everyone who comes to us seeking funding to feel valued and heard. That’s because I know what it is to be on the receiving end. Growing up, I benefited from the philanthropy of individuals and organizations. I was able to realize dreams thanks to people who understand the power of giving. For me, today, this work is like going full circle! NOELLE GEIGER The Animal Rescue Center Of California Vice-Chair, Co-Founder Making A Dierence Nothing gives me greater joy than rescuing a dog in need o the street, watching that dog flourish under our care, and then seeing that dog in a loving forever home. Makes the hard work, emotional days, and piles of poop all worth it. My husband, Kirk, and I started our 501c3 dog rescue five years ago. In our world, it’s all about the dog, and as we design and build our sanctuary in Thermal, the dogs and their needs are at the forefront of our minds.
