Katie Roth Think Together Executive Director of Philanthropy Making A Dierence Katie joined Think Together in 2022 after 15 years of experience with education nonprofits in Los Angeles. Starting as a middle school math teacher in Watts, Katie continued her career as a curriculum advisor, manager of instruction, director of programs, and most recently, Executive Director at PowerMyLearning. Katie’s dedication to bringing education opportunities to kids in underserved communities serves Think Togeth- er’s mission to change the odds for kids. Through generous donor support, Think Together is able to oer high-quality expanded learning to the resident students of Coachella Valley. Jo Rosen Parkinson’s Resource President & Founder Making A Dierence 33 years ago, Jo Rosen set out to provide valuable resources for those caring for and living with Parkinson’s disease. After her mother, then five years later, her future hus- band Alan were diagnosed with Parkinson’s, Jo began by seeking out experts and people that had been through similar experienc- es – and ever since then she has been on a mission to share that information with the world. Irene Rodriguez Cabot’s Pueblo Museum Executive Director Making A Dierence We share with our visitors our founder’s, Cabot Yerxa, adventures and his love of the desert. The museum reflects Cabot’s artistic and creative spirit as one explores each room in the pueblo. Our second grade school program is an opportunity for each student to be curious about local history and create art work in the creative environment. A special thank you to our members, donors, and visi- tors-they make it possible for the museum to preserve and promote Cabot Yerxa’s legacy. Bianca Rae Bianca Rae Foundation Founder/CEO Making A Dierence The Bianca Rae Foundation provides resources to help young people reach their fullest potential. Through our annual Rae of Hope Retreat for middle school kids, now in its 10th year, more than 4000 Coachella Valley children have learned about self-esteem building, bullying prevention, and other life skills. We are investing in tomorrow’s leaders, and I am blessed to have a platform that allows me to do that. Anne Pope ACT for MS Volunteer Board Director Making A Dierence I have been involved with ACT for Multiple Sclerosis since 2006 and am currently Board President. When you work with a group of people suering with an incurable disease, you see first hand what hardships they endure. You get attached to these individuals and it compels you to work your hardest to help any way you can. My daughter also suers with MS, so there is a personal connection as well. ACT for MS programs have been proven through a case study to help clients live stronger longer, delaying the progression. I feel privileged to be a part of this organization. Debra Pollock Cathedral City Senior Center Chief Development Ocer Making A Dierence CCSC improves the quality of life for seniors 55+ living in Cathedral City and the sur- rounding communities. We know that active, connected seniors stay independent longer which allows them to age in place in our community. CCSC provides food, friends, fun and help in a warm friendly, welcoming environment. Through the Edmundo & Herlinda Carrillo Equity in Aging Initiative, we are a ustainable, multigenerational community center for active living that serve our diverse community. A big strategic focus this year is building the Mid-Valley Center for Emotional Wellness designed to provide awareness of and access to emotional health resources for under- served communities in the Coachella Valley. Patti Park Angel View, Inc. Executive Director Making A Dierence Making a Dierence is something we at Angel View strive to do every day. Our mission is to help children and adults with intellectual disabilities reach their maximum potential. This includes our clients living in our homes, attending our Day Program and those served through our children’s Outreach Program. I am honored to lead the dedicated Angel View employees. Each contributes to our mission through their work directly with those we serve, raising funds in our stores to fund our programs and providing support. Each one is Making a Dierence in the lives of those we serve every day. Anne Olin Charitable Ventures President & CEO Making A Dierence Anne Olin is the Founder and current President & CEO of Charitable Ventures, a regional nonprofit incubator managing over $20 million in annual project funds. Launched in 2007 to strengthen the nonprofit sector, the organization sponsors community initiatives, provides social impact consulting, and responds to crucial community needs, including distributing over $27M in private and public COVID-19 relief funding to individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses since 2020. As a fervent advocate for social change, she is dedicated to lifting community leaders and developing innovative and eective solutions for our communities.
