Wendy Beerbower Eisenhower Health Senior Vice President Making A Dierence Wendy is grateful for the donors at Eisenhower who are truly Making a Dierence! She is currently inspiring donors to support Eisenhower’s campaign to build the Cardiovascular Institute of the future. As one of the top 50 cardiovascular hospitals in the country, Eisenhower is expanding to meet the community’s needs. This moment calls for an investment in growth, technology and the talented doctors and sta who epitomize world-class care. The campaign also includes an expansion of the Curci Cancer Center; construction of a new Memory Care Center and Eisenhower’s first Child Care Center, to support our employees’ families. Wendy is confident those in the community who value exceptional healthcare will support this vision as they have before. Whether or not you work in government, you have been gifted the opportunity to make a dierence through civic engagement. Attend a documentary sponsored by your city, use the public parks, fill out a survey, divert your food waste, or volunteer. (Or all of those things!) When you invest in your community, you’d be amazed at the dierence you will make in yourself, those around you, and where you live. Ellen Goodman Working with community partners, philanthropists, and local government is an absolute joy. It’s like being a part of a dynamic dream team, each bringing their superpowers to create positive change. Together, we transform ideas into realities, making the world a better place. My passion for work in the Coachella Valley shines through at Palm Springs Unified School District and its Foundation as well with NexGen Coachella, the Palm Springs Sister City Committee and previously as a Palm Springs Parks and Recs Commissioner. I cherish the opportunity to help the lives of the youngest citizens in our community, and these endeavors bring me immense joy and fulfillment. By devoting time and eort to supporting the growth and well-being of children, we acknowledge their importance as the future generation. We understand that nurturing them and providing them with the necessary resources is crucial for their development and success. We recognize that by oering them the tools and opportunities they need, we are empowering them to reach their fullest potential and make a positive impact on society. Working in the Coachella Valley, I have witnessed firsthand the impact we can have on the lives of young individuals. Whether it is through education, mentorship, or access to essential services I believe that we must provide them with support and unwavering dedication to help their well-being. My work not only benefits the children but also enriches my own life. The rewarding feeling that comes from knowing that I get to positively influence the lives of young citizens is second to none. In summary, I love the Coachella Valley. As a community I know that we can furnish children with the resources they need to thrive and shape a brighter future.
