The heart of the event is the Wellness Fair in the shopping center’s Main Court where attendees can connect with a curated lineup of local and in-center businesses offering wellness-related products, services, samples and exclusive event-only offers. From skincare and supplements to fitness, holistic and medical support, guests can discover a wide range of resources to support their personal wellness journey. Guests can also take part in the Step & Spin Challenge—a fun way to stay active during the event. The first 100 participants to check in will receive a free pedometer. Anyone who walks 3,000+ steps during the day can spin the Surprise Prize Wheel for instant rewards. Our guest speaker, functional medicine doctor Joseph E. Scherger, MD, MPH, will share his insights on “Lifestyle Medicine for Healthy Longevity” at 1 p.m. on the main stage. This enlightening presentation will feature tips you can incorporate today to help you avoid, and even reverse, chronic disease. Following the presentation, Dr. Scherger will also be available to answer your questions. The day will conclude with our Giveaway Event featuring prizes from center stores and participating vendors. To enter, guests must collect 20 stamps in their Wellness Day Passport and present it along with their raffle ticket, provided at check-in. Located at the corner of Monterey and Hwy 111, The Shops at Palm Desert offers over 140 stores and dining destinations.
