This year’s distinguished honoree is Ernesto C. Rosales, a lifelong Coachella Valley resident and respected leader in the funeral and cemetery services industry with more than 20 years of professional experience. Ernesto’s steadfast commitment to community service truly sets him apart. Alongside his family, he has generously supported countless local nonprofits, including CVVIM, reflecting a deep and enduring dedication to uplifting those in need. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening emceed by News Channel 3’s Chief Meteorologist Patrick Evans. The awards show begins with a welcome reception and silent auction, followed by an elegant wine dinner and spectacular live entertainment. The night’s headliners, The Femmes of Rock, bring a high-energy multimedia performance that fuses electrifying strings, powerhouse vocals and a rock-solid rhythm section. Led by renowned rock violinist Nina DiGregorio, whose viral electric violin cover of Van Halen’s “Eruption” earned millions of views worldwide, the group has wowed audiences alongside legendary acts such as Kansas, Bad Company, Cheap Trick and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Their setlist reimagines classic hits from Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, AC/DC, Van Halen and more—promising a thrilling close to the evening. Proceeds from the VIMY Awards directly support CVVIM’s mission to provide free, high-quality health care to uninsured and underserved adults in the Coachella Valley. For those who qualify, CVVIM offers a wide range of services at its Palm Springs and Indio clinics, including primary care, behavioral health, gynecology and women’s wellness exams, specialty referrals (neurology, dermatology, ophthalmology), as well as lab testing, x-rays, imaging and ultrasound services—all at no cost to the patient.
