Foothills Sentry Page 22 February 2020 Villa Park High School Competitive Cheer took home the Division 2 Championship trophy at the second annual CIF-Southern Section Championships. Villa Park Cheer performs a winning routine. Foothill High School competed in Division 3A at the CIF- Southern Section Competitive Cheer Championships. Hailey Williams from Villa Park High School hoists the first place Division 2A trophy at the CIF- Southern Section Cheer Competition. Villa Park took runner-up in last year’s event. Orange High School made its first appearance, competing in Division 4A at the CIF-Southern Section Competitive Cheer Championships. Minna Yu (in white) from Canyon High School keeps the defensive pressure on Amar Ra Winston (34) from Orange High. Canyon was runner-up in the Lady Panther Classic Basketball Tournament. Helia Khazeni (right) from Canyon High School fouls Valentina Quan (1) from Orange High going for the ball. Canyon won the game, 45-5, in the Lady Panther Classic Basketball Tournament.
