The North was anchored on both sides of the ball by Orange High All Stars Chris Ouiroga, Blaze Iglesias and Edward Fonua. Playing for Villa Park High were Kaden Baptista, Arthur Orta, Devon Goosby and Alex Gryw- alski. From Foothill High were Dean Vincent Pistone and Roman Marchetti. Running the ball from Villa Park was Jackson Christie, who finished with 10 carries for 64 yards. For the North, Tobey Schmidt from Tustin passed for 153 yards. The South won the game, 30-17. Blaze Iglesias from Orange High anchored the defense for the North All-Stars. Chris Jesson Quiroga tracks down a South running back in the 62nd Annual North-South Prep Classic Football Game. Canyon High’s Delaney Ewing (4) scored against Claremont High School. Canyon was elimi- nated by San Juan Hills, 16-5, in the first round of Division 2 playoffs. Maria Cunha, Canyon High goalkeeper, sets up for the block, and gets help from Megan Eso (8). Canyon beat Claremont in the wild card game, 22-13.
