Brown will be able to watch his two sons play baseball at Cal State Fullerton and Villa Park. Brown served as Foothill’s AD for 17 years and coached the girls softball team for three seasons. Brown had taken the athletic di- rector's position at Orange Lu- theran and will be an assistant baseball coach. Taking over at Foothill is Chris Price. Price was an assistant under Brown for six years and brings 20 years of coaching experience to the program. At Orange High School, the boys soccer program has a new head coach. Edgar Hernandez took over after Victor Esparza stepped down. He was the head coach at Kansas State for the program's 300th, 400th, and 500th all- time wins. In recognition of his contributions to the program, Kansas State has named its home field the Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium. Matt Lester, Orange Unified School District Kelly Field manager, was given a plaque from the district's athletic directors honoring his 40 years and five months of dedication. El Modena Athletic Director Ed Drzanek made the presentation prior to the start of the football season on the new field.
