It was the fourth trip to the finals in five years. Foothill won, 12-7, over previously untested Mira Costa, ranked No. 1 and undefeated at 18-0. Addison Duvel from Foothill High School saw the goal open, and scored against San Clemente. Foothill took seven shots before Brynn Perkins put the ball in the net to get the Knights on the board. Foothill went up 4-2 in the middle of the second quarter, and never looked back. Foothill started the second half up 6-4. Foothill scored six goals in the second half to take the Div. 1 Championship title.
