Page 15 Foothills Sentry August 2023 Freedom rang at OPA 4th of July Parade The 56th annual 4th of July Parade in Orange Park Acres, themed “Let Freedom Ring,” brought out an enthusiastic mix of participants in saddles, front seats and truck beds, festooned with flags and adorned in red, white and blue. No, you are not seeing double! These look-alike tabby twin boys are looking for their forever- together home. Pablo Purrcaso and Gomez Caturns are eight months old, very social, loving and active guys. They love to play, fetch and cuddle. The boys Debbie and Rodger Gulledge and their Model A Ford Young equestrian Quinn Henderson and Chuka Mayor of Orange Dan Slater is as comfortable on horseback as he is in council chambers. Tickets available for OPA Fall BBQ Orange Park Acres signature fundraising event, the annual Fall Barbecue, will be held Sat- urday, Sept. 23, at the Sandfords’ home. The event sold out last year, so buying tickets or reserving a table early is recommended. Tickets available on line at or- angeparkacres.org The BBQ will feature a ca- tered dinner with all the fixins, a live and silent auction, and dancing under the stars with the Chris Lozano Band.
