The streets of the smallest city in Orange County were bubbling over with rollin’ fun during the “Stars on Parade” on the morning of the 4th, as decorated scooters, bikes and trikes cruised along the 1.5 mile parade route. Free patriotic enhancements and sweet treats added to the fun. Then, on the 21st, the VPHS Amphitheater was full of folks, many in fun 80s garb, dancing and singing to tunes of the 80s, provided by the fabulous 80’s Daze quartet at the annual “Concert in the (Villa) Park” event. Thanks go to OC Supervisor Don Wagner/County of Orange for their sponsorship of this event. For info on membership and upcoming events, see vpcsfoundation.org. Cycles and scooters prepare for the parade start. Young people volunteered to staff the Foundation booth. A new generation appreciates a 1980s jam. Parade participants prepare to pedal. 80s fans Dora and Ed Howard
