Tustin Sunset Market, a summer staple By Guy Ball Since May, the City of Tustin has closed several blocks of Old Town Tustin’s main street, El Camino Real, to host the “Sunset Market,” a pedestrian-oriented street fair featuring various com- mercial and craft vendors, live music, farmers’ market, beer/ wine garden and food trucks. The event is held on the third Thursday evening of the month, including the final summer dates of Aug. 15 and Sept. 19, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. There is no admis- sion charge, and some of the nearby restaurants are also open for full dinners. The Sunset Market takes place in the heart of Old Town, with El Camino Real closed from 2nd to Main Street. Free parking is available on nearby streets and a city parking lot.
