I am a small business owner, Orange resident for 36 years, and homeowner for 28 years near Santiago Creek. My 40 years of government and city planning experience make me uniquely qualified to serve on city council. I was ap- pointed to the Planning Commis- sion and Design Review Com- mittee where I served you 11 years. I relied on facts, common sense and planning expertise, not politics. My priorities include: • Fund public safety • Address issues surrounding homelessness • Protect taxpayers by being fiscally responsible John Gyllenhammer My wife, 2 kids and I have been blessed to live in East Orange for the last six years. I have found a town that I have put roots down in and want to serve. For the last 15 years, I have worked as a retail and operations man- ager, leading teams of over 9,000 associates and overseeing over a half a billion-dollar budget. I am an active volunteer, serving on the board of the United Ways of CA, overseeing community engagement for the Western United States and actively partnering with Feeding America at work. I am a graduate of the Orange Citizens’ Police Academy; I coach my kid’s sports teams and teach Sunday school at my church. I have the experience, integrity, and servant’s heart needed for Orange City Council. I commit to: • Protect open space and parks • Prioritize public safety and crime reduction • Support efforts to end the homelessness crisis • Preserve Orange’s great heritage, traditions and celebrations • Promote business-friendly policies to ensure future growth • Be fiscally responsible • Support a balanced budget. I’d be honored to have your vote. www.johngyllenhammer.com It’s my privilege, my honor, to humbly ask for your vote for Orange City Council District 6. My wife and I moved here eight years ago to raise our kids. We love the promise and the diversity of our city. I’m running to build our future, our forever home – and ensure that Orange is a place our kids can build their families. I’m an engineer, a Little League manager, and a supply chain professional. Like yours, my family sweated through yet another record-breaking summer. We see neighbors struggling with our continuing housing shortage. Our community has the power to address these challenges with compassion. Let’s expand parks and enhance our neighborhoods. Let’s attract business that will contribute to our home. Let’s leverage the strengths of our great hospitals and universities. And let us hold those who despoil our city to account. As your representative, you will always be heard, neighbor-to-neigh- bor. I do not accept funding from developers or anyone else. The time to build our resilient future is now. Say hello on twitter @BH4Orange. Vote for Brian Harrington. Brian Harrington • Support businesses • Establish a code of conduct for city leaders toward residents • Shift the culture toward trans- parency, community input, fair- ness and inclusion • Restore proper planning • Honor community plans • Erase our open space deficit. I will champion our unique neighborhoods, quality of life, and demand an environmentally safe solution for the Sully-Miller site cleanup. I will do what is right for residents. It is time to re- turn to a community-first mindset and restore a positive relationship between citizens and city hall. I ask for your vote. www.Glad- sonForOrange.com Vote!
