The show offers hand-crafted seasonal décor, unique gifts, jewelry, clothing and goodies for consumption. The main room features over 20 booths, from new art by returning vendor Pacific Mountain Woodworkers to embellished T-shirts from newcomer Peachy Tee’s. Shoppers can snatch up Gnomes by Jeanne Mansfield, accessories from Que Bella, and stained-glass pieces from A Real Glass Act. In addition to crowd-favorite baked goods from Old Towne Bakery and Frontier Soups, this year’s kitchen products include Tipsy Gypsy cocktail mixes and theme cookies from Sweet Things by Tanya. A limited number of hand sewn pillows offered in appreciation from a previous recipient of Assistance League services are set to sell out quickly. A portion of all proceeds benefits the local community service programs of Assistance League. Opening day is Wed., Oct. 12 from 2-8 p.m., at 124 S. Orange Street. Crescendo presents Spirit of America Marla Kavanaugh Concert soloist Marla Kava- naugh will be the featured per- former at the Crescendo Chap- ter’s Celebrity Speakers Series on Thursday, Nov. 10. Soprano Kavanaugh will sing songs representing “the spirit of America” in a cross-over perfor- mance, including Broadway tunes and opera. She has performed with Leonard Bernstein and Plac- ido Domingo. Her Lincoln Center debut came in 2014, followed by a Carnegie Hall debut in 2015. Her husband Daniel Rodriquez will also sing at this performance. The program begins at 10 a.m. at the Bowers Museum, 2002 N. Main Street. Tickets are $35, gen- eral admission.
