Inspect. Identify. Treat. You can STOP THE SPREAD! The Annual International Street Fair, held Sept. 1-3, was blessed this year with mild temperatures. Fair organizer Adam Felis says this Labor Day weekend food fest was the most successful street fair since he’s been involved. The nonprofit organizations that set up the food and beer concessions reported an average $16,000 in sales. There were some 100,000 cups of beer and 40,000 wrist- bands sold. Felis reports they ordered an additional 100 kegs of beer, but still ran out Sunday night. The Old Towne street ven- ue was cleaned up and back to its old self by Monday morning. Spontaneous dancing in the street was inspired by the music of Toro Abdul. The Orange Elk’s mascot, McEl- roy (Terrie Schatz) schmoozes with Pam Jung. Ismael Angulo fries spiral pota- toes.
