I am a homeowner, husband, OUSD parent, and City of Orange Com- missioner with extensive experi- ence in municipal oversight and managing taxpayer funds. Previously, I served as Co- chairman and a member of the Orange County Transportation Authority’s Taxpayer Oversight Committee (TOC), overseeing the allocation of $13 billion from Measure M2 funds, ensuring your tax dollars were spent on transpor- tation projects approved by voters. As a city commissioner, I have given input and recommenda- tions on nearly $500,000 of an- nual Community Events and $3.6 million of Capital Improvement Projects - as well as worked with elected leaders to preserve open space in Hart and Handy Parks and returned $850,000 of your tax dollars in a federal earmark to Or- ange for a park in West Orange. In my roles managing county and state agency budgets, I've suc- cessfully handled budgets of up to $1 million, managing resources and personnel. If elected Orange City Treasur- er, I pledge to ask the same tough questions, to be transparent and accountable to the taxpaying citi- zens of Orange.
