Dual Enrollment Success FuhsdAdultSchool.com • (408) 522-2700 • 589 West Fremont Avenue, Sunnyvale CA 94087 Counseling & Resources at The Adult School Saranjit Kaur was the first dual enrollment student to complete 18 units at Foothill College while also enrolled in our Parent Education Preschool program with her son Kabir. Saranjit earned her Certificate of Achievement in Early Childhood Education Fundamentals. She is on her way to achieving her goal of becoming a preschool teacher. CAEP students are eligible to apply for dual enrollment to take FREE classes at De Anza or Foothill College. Dual enrollment students can take up to 11 units per quarter (6 units in summer). *Note: There are certain visa restrictions for dual enrollment The Shibuya family, Diana, husband Akira, and son Harvey are proud participants in the FUHSD Adult School. Diana and Akira enjoyed taking Japanese and Spanish community education classes and Harvey is a recent Bright Beginnings Preschool grad. This fun family enjoys hiking, traveling, visiting the beach, and Formula 1 racing. They especially enjoyed being part of Bright Beginnings and getting to watch Harvey learn, grow and make friends. They represent what it special about the Adult School: a place where you can learn new skills, interact with people from around the world, and make friends. FUHSD Adult School Counselor, Desirie Torres, is committed to students’ success! We recognize that each student faces unique challenges, and offer various levels of support to help them overcome obstacles and achieve success. Develop academic or career plans for those enrolled in ESL, ASE, Bright Beginnings, and CTE classes. Explore dual enrollment opportunities through DeAnza & Foothill colleges.
