Scan the QR code and take the survey today The Las Positas Free Tuition Promise for 2025-2026 Las Positas College now offers free tuition for first-time, full-time students. See below for details: Eligible Students • First-time college students that have not attended college before. Students who have earned college credit prior to high school graduation or students enrolled at Las Positas College during the summer immediately prior to fall 2025 are eligible. • Must be enrolled in, and must complete, 12 or more units per semester during fall 2025 and spring 2026. • Must be a California resident or AB540 student. Application Process 1. Apply to Las Positas College. 2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the CA Dream Act Application (CADAA) during the academic year for which it applies. 3. Participate in the recommended, but optional, Student Success and Support Program before fall 2025 classes start. This includes: • Online orientation • Guided self placement for math and informed course selection for English • First semester planning session offered through the New Student Support Center What Costs are Covered? The Las Positas College Promise will cover students’ tuition, the $46 per unit enrollment fee. Don’t qualify for this free tuition program? We can still provide support!
